More 10 year runion info

Hey everyone, We have finally decided on the Reunion!!

It's gonna be On Sat. July 28th, 2007 at the Sunset Center In Rocklin (By Parker Whitney). No host bar starting at 6:30. Saturday night will only be for the alumni and one guest.

Then on Sunday the 29th, we will be having a picnic at the Johnson SpringView Park for the alumni and their families. We will have a few activities there but please feel free to bring some toys to share too (ie. softball gloves, balls, etc.)

We Do Need Some Help though.....We're looking for some vendors for the reunion (DJ, Caterers, Photographer, Bartender, etc. ) I know there are quite a few people from our class that might do one or the other so we figured this is the best place to start. However, we don't want YOU working at your reunion. Of course we're trying to keep cost down, so if you know of any vendors that might give us a discount, that would be great. It would make it a little cheaper on ALL of us! Or, if you could just refer us to someone that you would recommend, that info would be appreciated too! Anything you know that could help, please send it our way!!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me here. I will be posting more info as it comes available. Remember, GET THE WORD OUT!! We only have 50 addresses so far! ~A~

Rocklin high school Reunion page

Ok just to give you all a quick update on how the planning is going and the ideas we have........... We're aiming for the end of July or early August of NEXT year to hold the reunion. We can't set a date till we set a venue. We are working on having a catered, sit-down dinner and dance in the Rocklin area. This would only be for the alumni and one guest. Dress would be semi-formal - Men; just some nice slacks and collard shirt. Ladies; an evening dress or pant suit that you might wear to a nice restaurant or club. This will take place on a Saturday night. Then on Sunday afternoon, we would like to have a picnic including the families at Johnson Spring View park. We will have activities set up or available. The details (catered, bring your lunch, etc) will be determined later! Now remember, this is a rough outline of what we MIGHT be doing! We're still in the beginning stages so things may shift a little. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up so you know what we're working on! As things progress I will keep you updated!!

ROSEVILLE, Calif. -- Fire crews battled a multi-alarm blaze at a Roseville department store Tuesday.

The fire at the Ross store at Roseville Square was first reported just before 11 a.m. and quickly went to multiple alarms.

Units from the Roseville, Sacramento Metro, South Placer and Rocklin fire departments responded, as well as crews from other surrounding communities.

"We have at least 10 fire engines and two ladder trucks on scene and we have no reported injuries at this point," Roseville Fire Department spokesman Dennis Mathisen said.

Authorities said the blaze began in the rear of the store and was contained to the Ross store.

Tim Ballard, who said he was working on the lights inside the store when the fire broke out, told KCRA 3 that he suspected sparks from welders working behind the store may have ignited cardboard in the back of the building.

Authorities later confirmed that welders were working behind the store when the fire started and that they likely sparked the blaze. The welders were from the company Handyman Matters, which contracts with Ross.

Fire officials also said that the store was built before sprinklers were required and did not have a fire sprinkler system. Authorities credited a fire wall between the Ross store and the rest of the shopping center with keeping the fire from spreading to other businesses.

The Roseville Police Department shut down Harding Boulevard between Douglas Boulevard and Lead Hill Road and the California Highway Patrol shut down the westbound Douglas Boulevard exit from Interstate 80 to keep traffic out of the area.
